Our client, a leading provider of innovative life sciences solutions, is seeking an Inside Sales Account Manager to drive sales across the Benelux region. This role focuses on selling cutting-edge laboratory products and services and engaging with key stakeholders such as laboratory scientists, principal investigators, medical directors, and executives. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and achieving revenue targets.
Your task package: what will you do?
- Achieve or exceed sales targets and key performance metrics.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to maximize revenue.
- Engage in consultative selling, building strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Implement corporate strategies in assigned accounts, negotiate contracts, and manage pricing strategies.
- Maintain a deep understanding of market trends and competitive intelligence to drive business growth.
- Utilize CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to track customer interactions and sales activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless customer experience and business success.
- Sales Engagement
- Conduct outbound sales activities, including cold calls and lead generation efforts.
- Proactively convert inbound leads into new business opportunities.
- Address customer objections and tailor solutions to meet their needs.
- Deliver product presentations and demonstrations.
- Support marketing initiatives, including trade shows and customer training sessions.
What do we expect from you? Who are we looking for?
- Fluency in Dutch and English (French is a major plus)
- Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 4 years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of success.
- Experience in industrial or academic sales is highly desirable.
- Previous laboratory experience or familiarity with immunoassays, ELISA, or molecular biology techniques is a plus.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, preferably Salesforce.

- Strong technical background in life sciences.
- Deep understanding of immunoassays, molecular biology, and laboratory applications.
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and consultative sales skills.
- Ability to develop and execute business strategies effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

- This role offers a hybrid or remote working model.
- Occasional travel (up to 10%) may be required.
