Climate cabinets with CO2 as coolant

Due to increasingly stringent climate laws, the cooling gases are also targeted. This legislation has already been tightened, as a result of which the former cooling gas R404 was replaced at CTS by R452a. This refrigerant complies with European legislation that refrigeration gases must have a Global Warming Potential below 3000.

However, this legislation will continue to tighten in the future. With this in mind, CTS GmbH has started to develop a solution: CO2 as a coolant. CO2 as refrigerant has a GWP of 1, which makes CO2 the environmentally friendly solution for the future.
